During her studies and career, Sofia has been part of various chamber ensembles.
Between 2011 and 2013 she was a member of the Percussões da Metropolitana, the percussion ensemble formed by every percussionist of the Metropolitana institution, with which she performed all around Portugal. From 2013 and all the way through her Bachelors degree, she was part of various brass quintets, brass ensembles, duos of tuba and french horn and tuba and euphonium, tuba quartets, an all female low-brass trio and trombone quartets.
In Zurich, Sofia has played in brass quintets and tuba quartets and is currently in the process of starting a trio with horn and trombone.
